ASDA® TH Series Silicone Resin
We developed ASDA® TH series silicone resin, a solid powder that can dissolve in organic solvents like toluene, dimethylbenzene, and α-alkene. Our clients use the series as the primary ingredient or additive for their silicone-related applications. The solid powder character makes this product import and export-friendly.
TH-101 Methyl MQ Silicone Resin
MQ silicone resin has a three-dimensional structure based on the framework of Si-O key by molecular. This product is dissolvable in organic solvents like toluene, dimethylbenzene, and α-alkene. Its unique molecular structure creates outstanding properties, like hydrophobic and reinforcing properties, performing better than other materials.
It can effectively regulate and improve the insulating and peeling strength of pressure-sensitive adhesives.
It offers high transparency and reinforces properties when used for additive silicone rubber.
It will effectively increase the insulating, hydrophobic, reinforcing, and weather-resisting properties of other macromolecules when modifying other resin products.
When applied in cosmetics, it is suitable for all types of skincare, sunscreen, mascara, eyeliner, facial makeup, and lip products that require improved spreadability without leaving residue.

TH-501 Key Features
Methyl silicone resin is a silicone resin powder, solvent-free, containing Si-OH condensation-cured methyl group, which can be dissolved in toluene, xylene, ketones, ethanol, and other solvents for use.
It can be cured quickly by heating or adding a curing agent, or it can be cured by cross-linking with the help of the moisture in the air to form a hard and smooth protective film.
The vulcanization process does not generate any by-products and is non-toxic. It is widely used in the surface protection of building materials, metals, glass, ceramics, fibers, plastics, and other substrates, as well as mica and fiber laminate adhesives.
It has the lowest carbon content among all silicone resins. There is almost no smoke after high-temperature thermal decomposition. The SiO₂ formed after degradation forms a strong fireproof material with other inorganic fillers.
TH-501 Applications
It can be added to heat-resistant fillers or ultraviolet light absorbers and generate a high-temperature-resistant coating. Coating with high-temperature resistance above 500°C can be achieved with metal fillers.
Applicable in porous material impregnation or inorganic mineral composite binder.
Applicable in sheet binder made of reinforcing materials such as fiber and cloth base.
Applicable in the coating and impregnation of electrical appliances, capacitors, and high-voltage coils.
Applicable in the laminate adhesive for mica and glass fiber cloth.
