Calcined Muscovite Mica Tapes

ASDA-C Calcined Muscovite Mica Tape features calcined muscovite mica, electrical grade glass cloth as reinforcing auxiliary material, and is impregnated with high-temperature resistant silicone resin.

The muscovite is calcined at high temperatures to remove crystal water and non-mica impurities that could affect the pressure and temperature resistance. The water permeability of the calcined muscovite mica to organic silica is much higher than phlogopite or synthetic mica.

Applications

ASDA-C is Class A fire-resistant and electric insulation material for cable wrapping, electrical winding insulation, winding wire coating insulation, windmill/power generators, high-voltage motors, and transformers.

At 850℃ to 900℃ or 1562℉ to 1652℉, under a voltage of 600V to 1000V, breakdown time >90 minutes.

Fire Resistance: Class A, BS6387 / IEC 60331, GB/T19216
